What a great couple of nights we have had at Bethel GEMS!!! Monday night we had an AWESOME turnout for our really fun and special Mother/Daughter Tea - we had to set up two extra tables and that is a fantastic problem to have!! We enjoyed tea, beautiful cupcakes, tasty fruit salad, a fun picture booth, games, and performances by a couple groups of our GEMS girls. Then last night we enjoyed our annual skating party at Lynden Skateway with all the GEMS from Whatcom County. How awesome to see that GEMS is bigger than just our club!!
Another opportunity for girls to see that GEMS is bigger than just our club is to come to GEMS CAMP June 6-8 at Lake Retreat & Conference Center. It is going to be AMAZING!!! I am so excited for this camp, our speaker, our worship leader, the crafts & activities, hanging out with the girls, and for swimming in the new indoor heated pool!! Registration forms are available at www.actsarea3.blogspot.com or I will hand them out at our next GEMS on April 7. The cost is $100/person, but because of our fundraisers, Bethel GEMS will pay HALF! So, you only need to pay $50/person! Moms are welcome...so let me know if you are interested in coming along as a cabin counselor with your daughter!!
